It was to your best interest to ask for their IDs and warrants; at least you should read the testimony before signing it, as it could be used against you in court. Never trust the police! You have come out of it with the police gathering all the information they need and yourself holding nothing at all against them, not a single piece of evidence of this entirely illegal procedure.
